Job Overview

Sales Operations Manager Position

The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving the productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. This position is responsible for providing general administrative support to all areas of the Sales Division and managing support functions essential to sales force productivity.

The Sales Operations Manager works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the appropriate objectives and priorities are supported and enabled within the sales organization. This includes collaborating with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes within the sales organization, maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
  2. Ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned and monitored in a timely fashion.
  3. Identify opportunities for sales process improvement, working closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
  4. Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other vital intelligence for the sales organization.
  5. Implement enabling technologies such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce) for field sales teams, monitoring compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.
  6. Coordinate global training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support staff.
  7. Support the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
  8. Collaborate with the Salesforce administrator to maintain integrity of Salesforce data, performing account mergers, assignments, and reassignments as needed.
  9. Ensure accountability for accurate and timely reporting, which is essential for the effectiveness of the sales organization.

Experience Requirements:

  1. At least five years' experience at an operational management level in an international commercial context, preferably in a related field to sales operations, such as sales administration and operations.
  2. Proven track record in sales administration and operations with a focus on account management, commissions processing, and continuous process improvement.
  3. Excellent collaboration skills with peers in an international sales environment.
  4. Demonstrated sales training presentation skills.
  5. Strong Excel skills.
  6. SFDC experience, including working with sales dashboards and reports, Tableau, and other technology tools, is ideal.
