About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring creativity, excellent organisational skills and a strong commitment to quality and consistency. You will lead a dynamic team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality food offering to a busy customer base.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Design and update menus in line with seasonal and customer trends
  • Ensure food quality, presentation and hygiene standards are consistently high
  • Manage food cost, stock control and waste reduction
  • Train, supervise and motivate kitchen staff
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Work closely with management on menu planning and business strategy
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef role
  • Manual Handling and Food Safety Level 2 certification
  • Strong background in high-volume kitchens
  • Passion for quality food and a flair for modern cuisine
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of food costings and kitchen financials
  • HACCP certified with strong knowledge of health and safety practices
