Job Overview

A Payments Specialist position has become available in the Milk Centre of Excellence, based in Kilkenny. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the ideal candidate will manage and coordinate all aspects of supplier milk payments.

  • Manage the bi-monthly delivery of accurate and timely payments to milk suppliers.

The Payments Specialist will be responsible for liaising with Milk Pool Development regarding milk collections, quality adjustments, and deductions from suppliers. They will also complete milk valuations for Interim and final assessments.

  • Process existing, seasonal, and new milk schemes as part of milk valuation.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience as a qualified or part-qualified accountant.
  • Experience in audit and compliance is beneficial.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
