Nursing Leadership Position
Job Overview:This leadership role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing services to individuals with complex support needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that patients' rights are protected and maintained, while also promoting good communication and relationships among the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and prepare for ward rounds and multi-professional meetings.
- Supervise and appraise junior staff members, taking charge of the Centre in the Director's absence.
- Maintain infection control standards and adhere to relevant professional guidelines.
- Apply clinical nursing procedures and treatments, including medicine administration and supervision.
- Exercise leadership within the service by ensuring good communication and relationships among the nursing team and multidisciplinary team.
- Registration on the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent.
- 5+ years post-qualification/registration psychiatric nursing experience and 3+ years management experience.
- Excellent organisational, verbal, written communication, and IT skills.
