About the Opportunity

We're seeking a high-performing On-Trade Wine Business Growth Role professional to join our team at Bibendum Ireland. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth in the on-trade sector through strategic planning, customer engagement, and sales execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribution to commercial sales strategy development: Collaborate with our sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
  • Sales volume/value growth opportunities identification: Analyze customer and market performance data to pinpoint areas of potential growth and develop targeted strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Customer engagement and relationship building: Foster strong relationships with existing customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Supplier trade visits and events: Partner with suppliers to host trade tastings, events, and training sessions to enhance customer knowledge and loyalty.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A full driving license and a proven track record of sales success.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in the on-trade wine industry, preferably with a recognized wine education qualification (e.g., Level 2 WSET).
