About the Role

We're looking for a talented Commercial Wine Manager to join our team at Bibendum Ireland. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth in the on-trade sector through strategic planning, customer engagement, and sales execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing commercial sales strategies: Work closely with our sales team to create and execute plans that maximize sales growth and profitability.
  • Analyzing customer and market trends: Utilize data analysis skills to identify areas of potential growth and develop targeted strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Fostering strong customer relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Partnering with suppliers: Collaborate with suppliers to host trade tastings, events, and training sessions to enhance customer knowledge and loyalty.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A full driving license and a proven track record of sales success.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in the on-trade wine industry, preferably with a recognized wine education qualification (e.g., Level 2 WSET).
