Job Summary:

The Left Production Manager will oversee a cross-functional team to achieve the Production Stream specific objectives utilizing the Kerry Production system.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Listowel, operating Monday to Friday.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize and direct optimal day-to-day operations to consistently meet customer expectations
  • Ensure delivery of the Dairy Consumer Foods production plan in conjunction with the General Manager
  • Provide leadership to the production management team in areas including Safety, Quality, Cost & attainment to plan in delivering core plant KPI's
  • Drive the people agenda in the plant in relation to recruitment, training and development and performance management of the team

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a multifunctional team in a high-speed process environment, with the ability to align the production stream strategy with that of the site, both in the short term and medium term.

The successful candidate will also be proficient in the use of MS Office tools, able to identify and actively plan improvements, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment, and facilitate bottom-up and top-down communication channels.

Visionary Leadership: As the Left Production Manager, you will lead a high-performing team to drive business success. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day operations to consistently meet customer expectations.

Talent Development: You will drive the people agenda in the plant, focusing on recruitment, training, and development of the team members. Your goal will be to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.

Safety and Quality: You will provide leadership to the production management team in areas including Safety, Quality, Cost & attainment to plan in delivering core plant KPI's. Your focus will be on ensuring a safe working environment and delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
