Translation Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Translation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality translation services to internal clients across various departments.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to translate content from English into Norwegian, including educational, promotional, and service-oriented materials. You will work closely with internal clients to ensure that all translation-related requests are met efficiently and effectively.

In addition to translating content, you will also develop tone and language style guides for each market you serve, maintain terminology bases for your target language, and review translated material produced by in-house colleagues and external translation vendors.

Your Responsibilities
  • Translate complex financial and capital markets related content into Norwegian with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Develop and maintain language style guides for each market served
  • Maintain terminology bases for your target language
  • Review and edit translated material produced by in-house colleagues and external translation vendors
  • Collaborate with internal clients to understand their needs and preferences
Your Qualifications
  • Norwegian native speaker; fluency in English required
  • Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or other professional certification related to translation or localisation
  • At least 2 years of experience in translation, editing, or content production
  • Experience in the field of finance and capital markets an advantage
