Job Opportunity

A forward-thinking organization is seeking a seasoned IT Governance Specialist to lead the development and embedding of governance structures across IT.

This role involves reviewing, designing, and implementing policies in collaboration with IT teams to ensure they are practical, effective, and audit-ready.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management, compliance oversight, communication, and stakeholder engagement. A strong background in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance, ideally from a highly regulated environment, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance Leadership – Embed best-in-class governance structures across IT.
  • Policy Development – Review and implement policies in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Risk Management – Support risk assessments for new solution implementations.
  • Compliance Oversight – Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communication & Reporting – Create impactful reporting materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Influence and support senior leaders to ensure GRC requirements are embedded in decision-making.

About You

  • Strong background in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Experience in policy development, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership potential and interest in building a team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years’ relevant experience preferred.
  • Certifications (CISM, CISA, CISSP) beneficial but not essential.
  • Prior experience in regulated industries essential.
