This is a high-profile opportunity to join a dynamic business as an Account Manager.
The successful candidate will oversee order placement and execution, safeguarding delivery conditions and acting as the voice of the customer. Key responsibilities include handling escalated customer queries from the Customer Service team and managing complaints with a solutions-focused approach.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will take responsibility for achieving budgeted customer results and analyze KPIs related to financial performance and delivery metrics. This role requires strong analytical skills and well-developed conceptual thinking abilities.
The Account Manager will also develop and enhance customer contracts and supplier agreements, and host regular customer performance reviews to foster partnership success.
Key Responsibilities:- Champion customer interests: Oversee order placement and execution with production units, safeguarding delivery conditions and acting as the voice of the customer.
- Resolve challenges with impact: Handle escalated customer queries from the Customer Service team and manage complaints with a solutions-focused approach.
- Own business performance: Take responsibility for achieving budgeted customer results and analyze KPIs related to financial performance and delivery metrics.
- Strengthen long-term relationships: Develop and enhance customer contracts and supplier agreements (annual budgets, capacity planning, slot reservations, modification programs, contract amendments).
- Minimum Diploma/degree qualified, preferably in a business or engineering discipline.
- 3 years+ Experience in customer related roles
- Experience in Aviation MRO industry advantageous
- Exceptional service orientation and customer focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid proficiency in relevant IT systems used (MS Office/Teams, ERP Systems)
- Very good knowledge of internal processes and relationships is a plus
- Strong initiative to make decisions and a structured, systematic way of working
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
