Senior Site Manager Role Overview
A well-established construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience to manage the setting out and supervision of residential projects in South Dublin.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, have extensive site or industry experience in residential construction, and possess excellent communication and IT skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in the residential sector.
- Project Management: Oversee the accurate setting out of foundations, columns, beams, and walls for multi-storey apartment blocks and associated roads and services.
- Administration: Take levels, survey works, and maintain records of ongoing works carried out by subcontractors.
- Materials Procurement: Liaise with Site Managers and Purchasing teams to ensure the correct specification, quality, and quantity of materials are on site as required.
- Team Leadership: Assist Site Management in supervising and managing site operatives, both direct and subcontracted.
- Quality Assurance: Coordinate quality and building control plans at various stages throughout the project.
- Health & Safety: Participate in the induction of site operatives, assist with health and safety audits, monitor adherence to PPE requirements, and manage health and safety obligations.
