Job DescriptionAtkinsRéalis one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.You will support the planning and scheduling of infrastructure projects using tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project. Working closely with project teams, you will help develop and maintain programmes, monitor progress, and assist in reporting and forecasting.Your Purpose:Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.Support the preparation of cost and resource loaded programmes for forecasting and monitoring.Understand and apply the requirements of the NEC suite of contracts related to scheduling and programme updates.Generate progress reports, forecasts, and dashboards for project teams and management.Identify scheduling risks and constraints and collaborate with team members to mitigate delays.Rail experience is preferred but not essential.Proactively engage with the Contractor to encourage a collaborative working relationship while maintaining contractual compliance.Review and comment on Contractor submissions, including Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, and Health and Safety Plans.Report non-conformances, safety observations, and issues promptly and professionally.Support the client and project management teams in risk management, early warning notifications, compensation event assessments, and other NEC processes.Mentor and develop junior site staff.What can you bring:Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.Familiarity with Primavera P6 and MS Project.Basic understanding of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.Strong analytical and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Full driving licence and willingness to travel across project locations.About Us:At AtkinsRéalis we put Environment, Sustainability and Health & Safety at the heart of our business strategy.
