Our Business Development Teams play a crucial role at Okta in boosting revenue and broadening our market reach. This thrilling opportunity involves identifying new business prospects from inbound leads sourced by our marketing teams in the Emerging segment. You will establish strong client and cross-functional relationships to meet your targets and strategic aims, taking charge of creating a pool of potential customers and assessing opportunities for the Okta Solution.

Located in Dublin, our office houses most of Okta's Business Development Teams and is known for its collaborative and diverse atmosphere. Our transparent sales career progression enables you to achieve your aspirations and manage your performance right from the start, aligning with our culture of high performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generate new business opportunities to bolster the Emerging team's pipeline
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities
  • Accurately record prospect interactions and details in our CRM system
  • Effectively handle customer and cross-functional relationships
  • Proficiently engage with and qualify inbound leads
  • Carry out meaningful discussions with senior executives to understand their requirements
  • Promote Okta's brand

The Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Fluency in English and German
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Naturally inquisitive and determined
  • Self-driven with a passion for exceeding expectations
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in lead generation or prospecting is beneficial
