Learning and Development Administrative Officer

Overall Purpose of Job

To support learners, managers, and Learning Management System (LMS) users by providing information, advice, and resources as well as acting as LMS system admin, resolving issues related to training, user login, and course access.

For the successful implementation of this role there are a number of key relationships which should be fostered and developed. Primarily these will be with Trainers, Area Managers, Directors, Project Officers, and Service Coordinators and as well as a variety of external stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Support managers and individuals by providing information, advice, and resources to learners.

Support the day-to-day operation of the learning and development department in compliance with department procedures.

Act as the main point of contact for all training queries and provide day-to-day administrative support in learning & development activities to learners and trainers.

Provide resolutions or recommendations on Learning Management Systems and platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors and Moodle

Resolve production issues related to training completion, course access and enrolment, user login, and duplicate profiles, etc.

Act as QQI Lead ensuring the effective administration of the department's Quality Assurance system.

Provide Guidance on bookings.

Ensure correct records retention and storage for training records.

Provide monthly and other reports as necessary.

General administration duties related to the role such as room bookings, invoicing and running training reports.

To carry out any other relevant and appropriate duties as may be reasonably assigned from time to time by the Manager.

PERSON SPECIFICATION Training, Experience and Qualifications

Relevant in Learning & Development or HR at a minimum of QQI Level 6 on the framework of qualifications or equivalent

2 years' experience in a similar Learning & Development environment

Knowledge of relevant learning technologies such as Moodle and SAP

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite are essential.

Flexible in approach with the ability to use own initiative.

Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with all employees across the organisation to support the ongoing learning and development needs.

A full driving license and own car is desirable.
