Bodyshop Administrator

Role Overview

Responsible for processing all damages requiring Bodyshop assessment and repair, ensuring vehicle downtime is in line with KPIs, and maintaining no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet in Bodyshop at any time.

Key Responsibilities

- Take images of damaged vehicles for damage packs
- Upload damage packs to shared drive
- Perform quality checks on vehicles returning from repairs
- Notify Workshop Manager of QC outcomes
- Manage and monitor vehicles in Bodyshop
- Manage damage packs and documentation requests
- Act as point of contact for Service Department and other departments
- Provide training support to satellite branches
- Liaise with Asset Department for vehicle movements
- Ensure job cards are raised promptly and CAP is updated
- Update customers on repair progress
- Handle communication via email and letters
- Communicate daily with external Bodyshop
- Conduct fleet audit reports weekly and monthly
- File documentation

Person Specification

- Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance
- Experience in a Bodyshop environment
- Proven customer service skills and relationship building
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organized and self-motivated
- Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Team player
- Experience in vehicle rental or motor industry
- Body shop, warranty, or workshop experience desirable
- Suitable for apprentice mechanics or panel beaters interested in admin roles
