Human Resources Manager

This position offers a dynamic, strategic opportunity for an experienced professional to shape and lead internal HR systems. Reporting to the General Manager, you will support a team of 12 staff and up to 200 temporary workers across learning & development, compliance, culture, well-being, legal support, and office operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Development — create onboarding plans, training sessions, and policies that enhance staff performance
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) — maintain, update, and ensure widespread adoption of procedures
  • HR Systems and Documentation — manage compliant records, indexes, and policies efficiently
  • Audit and Compliance — conduct regular audits, prepare reports, and mitigate HR risks proactively
  • Employee Well-being and Engagement — implement initiatives to strengthen culture, retention, and staff support
  • HR Strategy — work closely with the General Manager to develop responsive HR strategies across the business
  • Complex HR Issues — resolve escalated matters with external advisors as needed
  • Recruitment Support — assist in sourcing and onboarding internal hires
  • Office Operations — oversee supplies and maintain a well-supported office environment
  • Culture and Employer Branding — share company values and story both internally and externally

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in standalone or SME HR roles
  • CIPD qualified (or working towards it)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience in HR compliance, policy, and employee development
  • Bonus: experience working with temporary staffing or agency models
