The Role

You will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities that progress through the sales funnel and ultimately drive new revenue growth in the EMEA region. As a Market Development Representative, you will spend about 80% of your time on the phone managing outbound prospect calls to educate potential customers on Docusign's offerings and gain insight into their business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities within a defined territory
  • Drive brand and product awareness through regular email and call campaigns
  • Schedule high-impact appointments with potential customers
  • Record prospect information in our CRM database
  • Present a balanced approach to cold calling, relationship development, sales process, and appointment setting

Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with sales cycles and solution-selling tactics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient computer application skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Track record of success in outbound sales/business development roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in another European language
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience
