TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, and drive revenue and growth. From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Business Operations Lead to partner with the Head of SMB of EMEA (Europe, The Middle East, and Africa) and manage a team of Project + Operations Managers. As the Business Operations Lead, you are focused on establishing and maintaining high standards of project management, processes, and best practices to ensure the successful execution of key strategic initiatives for SMB EMEA. You'll closely partner with Sales Leaders, Strategy, Product, and Marketing teams to address core business opportunities and challenges.
We are looking for a proactive, motivated leader who excels in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. With a strong desire to learn and innovate, you will be adept at solving complex problems and delivering solutions that benefit SMB teams across the EMEA region. In this role, you will define project goals and scopes, ensure effective communication across various functions and regions, and continuously enhance business solutions for global clients.
This role will report directly into the Head of SMB EMEA.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development:
Manage and monitor strategic projects, ensuring they align with the organization's priorities and are progressing on schedule. Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic initiatives and revenue opportunities. - Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key strategic projects, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and timelines are met. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with all XFN partners including Sales touched, Growth and Acquisition, Marketing and Vendor Management. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging input and ideas from diverse teams to drive revenue initiatives. - Regional Alignment:
Work with regional heads to ensure that EMEA initiatives are effectively scaled across regions, while identifying patterns and opportunities to collaborate and merge efforts across multiple regions. Tailor strategies to meet the unique needs and dynamics of each regional market, ensuring alignment with the overall organizational objectives and fostering cross-regional synergies. - Performance Analysis:
Develop metrics to evaluate the success of key projects and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in scaled sales roles within digital marketing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt to changing market dynamics with the ability to anticipate challenges, proactively troubleshoot, and swiftly resolve complex problems in high-pressure situations.
- Advanced analytical skills, with a deep ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, and drive business performance through data-driven strategies.
- Strong project management expertise, with the ability to oversee complex initiatives while ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated executive-level leadership and presence both internally and externally, with exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and a history of building strong relationships across departments to influence strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and direct and indirect leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- As this role works closely with our global Project teams, business fluency in Mandarin would be a bonus, with additional EMEA based languages also a plus.
- Previous experience in the ad-tech or media industry would be a nice to have.
